Letting in detail

Letting a property successfully requires a professional organisation who can keep up with the ever changing goverment legislation. Experience is key when searching for a suitable tenant. Once a tenant is found we complete a full credit check and all the necessary references. It is important to fully document the condition of the property at outset including a full inventory. A contract is then written up for a minimum term of six months and the tenant has the right to give one month's notice on month five. The landlord must give two month's notice on month four onwards.

At Primary we operate the Tenancy Deposit Scheme which is designed to protect both the interest of the landlord and the tenant. Primary also offers a full insurance package which includes landlord's insurance, contents insurance and rent guarantee. Once the suitable tenant takes occupancy of the property, Primary take the responsibility of a full management service.
